How Our Junk Removal Referral Service Works

Conroe Junk Pros is a referral website, not a junk removal company. We send your request to one independent local junk removal company. You never pay us; companies we refer you to may pay us for referrals.

Who runs this site

Conroe Junk Pros is operated by The Gadget Aid, LLC, a New Jersey limited liability company. We publish this website and pass requests along to a local company. We don't own trucks, employ crews, rent containers, or haul anything.

We wrote the guides on this site from published sources: the City of Conroe, Montgomery County Precinct 3, the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality, the U.S. EPA, local news coverage, and national cost guides such as This Old House, Fixr and HireAHelper. Sources are listed at the bottom of each page. Prices are national ranges, not quotes.

How your request is routed

  1. You send a request. The form asks for your name, phone number, town, the service you need, how soon, and an optional note about what's going. To start, send a request with the form.
  2. Your request goes to one company. We send it to one independent local junk removal company that serves the area. We don't send your request to a list of bidders.
  3. The company handles the job. Pricing and scheduling come from that company. It will tell you whether it can take your job and what it charges.
  4. You decide. You're under no obligation to hire the company. Any agreement is between you and the company.

Who pays

Our service is free to homeowners; you never pay us. Companies we refer you to may pay us for referrals, and that's how this site is funded. We don't add anything to your bill, and the company sets its own prices, terms and schedule.

What we don't do

  • We don't haul, load, sort or dispose of anything.
  • We don't rent dumpsters or roll-off containers, and we don't take requests for them.
  • We don't set prices, give quotes or collect payment.
  • We don't promise the company's work, availability or prices.
  • We don't give legal, tax or insurance advice. Ask a qualified professional.
  • We don't send you marketing texts.

What to ask any junk removal company

Whether you hire the company we refer you to or someone else, these questions protect you:

  • What's the total price, in writing? Include labor, disposal fees and any per-item charges.
  • Is it priced by volume or by item? And how does the price change if the pile is bigger or smaller than expected?
  • What won't you take? Paint, chemicals, tires and propane tanks are common exclusions.
  • Where does it go? Ask about donation, recycling, and refrigerant recovery for appliances.
  • Can I see proof of liability insurance? It matters most when a crew works inside your house.
  • When do I pay? Pay when the work is done, not before.

Questions or complaints

If you have a problem with the company you were referred to, contact that company first. If it isn't resolved, or you want us to stop sending your requests, email us at [email protected]. We can stop referring to a company that doesn't treat homeowners fairly.

Conroe Junk Pros is a referral website, not a junk removal company, and does not do the work. We send your request to one independent local junk removal company. You never pay us; companies we refer you to may pay us for referrals. Prices, scheduling and the work itself come from that company. Check any company's credentials and get written terms before you hire. How this works.
